I arrived in Singapore the other day after a lengthy flight from Barcelona. This was my first foot on the Asian continent and I have really enjoyed exploring this new culture.

This has been a very awesome experience thus far and have a lot of thoughts regarding my stay.

The first observation I have had is just how clean and modern the city is. The metro line and bus system runs extremely smoothly and the entire city seems to move at lightspeed.

The second thought is just how hot/humid it is here. Over the past few days, we have been walking over 11 miles each day in the blistering humidity. It is hard to walk a few steps without getting sweaty. I am not sure I could live here full-time without being able to withstand this wetness.

The food is awesome and cheap. There are tons of unique and clean food options throughout the city.

It is a small place and finding your way around is not that bad. You can take public transportation for most everything it seems.

Lots of diversity here.

The architecture is amazing. I am not generally one to comment on building structure but here it is quite evident just how pretty the buildings are. Every skyscraper is unique and individual, though the skyline blends together around the bay to form a beautiful view.

Anyways, these are just my initial observations as I continue to explore Singapore for a few days.
