Welp, today is the day. January 9th, 2017.
Today I leave the comfort of my home in Arizona and head out on a 5 month expedition across the world.
Well, perhaps it is not that dramatic, but it assuredly exciting.
Today, I fly to NY where I will spend a week (in the frigid cold) working, couch-surfing and meeting up with some friends.
I do not really have a clear plan, but I think that is the fun of it. The nothingness is freeing and certainly a challenge. I hope to keep blogging, working hard, learning and trying new things, etc.
It will be an interesting challenge.
It is always scary leaving home.
I have done it a few times before — on similar 3/4 month long journeys. And it never gets particularly easier.
But nonetheless, all these trips start the same way.
With one step forward.
So…here I go…to NY. The first of many destinations.
