I almost didn’t write a blog post today.
I was up super late last night doing work on a couple different projects. I had to wake up at 6 am today to do more work.
So when I woke up this morning, I didn’t feel like I could write a blog post.
But then I remembered a few things…
The first was that no one really cares about how busy I was last night or how tired I was this morning. Everyone is busy. Everyone is moving quickly. My personal excuse of being tired was really inconsequential. The only thing stopping me from writing a blog post was laziness. I hate that. I cannot let me stop me, otherwise I am destined to fail.
I also wanted to write this blog post because I love hitting the publish button. Creating, building, and publishings things is one of my favorite actions. There is nothing more exciting than pushing something out to the world.
It has been an incredibly valuable exercise to write these blog posts every single day, and it is something I do not plan on stopping any time soon. This action forces me to think creatively and execute on an idea. Every single day.
Besides, I have a nice streak going (9 months I think, but who is counting?)
I’ll be here tomorrow. And the next day.
