It is very easy to get comfortable with life. It’s also very hard to get comfortable with life.
It is very easy to get stuck at a local maxima. You get to the top of your class in high school. You win the state basketball championship. You get into the best college in your state. You eat at the best restaurant in your city.
At what point, however, do these local maxima not really mean anything?
At any point, do these local points actually convince you that you are on top when in reality you are somewhere stuck in mediocrity? Could these false indicators be a bad thing?
