If not now

One thing that I have been thinking a lot about lately is answering the question, “if not now, when?”

One thing that I have been thinking a lot about lately is answering the question, “if not now, when?”

I find that I have pushed a lot of things back in my life with the attitude that I will get to them later. This is generally the easy and convenient means to answering a question without having to put a lot of work into it.

But if not now…when will be the opportune time to take risks, live in the moment and step outside of my comfort zone?

If all goes well, this exact moment is perhaps the least controversial time for me to take a leap of faith and take a chance on something big. What am I waiting for?

Timing? 10 years from now I will have far more responsibility than I do today. I will have more people in my life to worry about. More things to think about. More distractions. More room for failure.

I am 20 years old…If I even have the slightest chance of making a differentiated impact on this world, I feel as if now is the time to act. That impact could span across any thing but I feel as if I have no more time to say “I will do this later.”

I am running out of later. Do you ever feel that way?
