When I started my daily blogging journey on February 24, 2016, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I honestly had no good reason for starting. It was an internal pull more than anything. Instinct.

I just wanted to create and this was the fastest and lowest barrier to entry way I could find. I made a Medium account, and just started typing.

I made errors here and there, but sooner or later, one week turned into 30 days which drew out over months and months. And today, when I checked the date, I realized that it was officially 600 days. 600 days of publishing every single day. Zero misses.

There is something magical about doing one thing every single day. We all have our own processes and systems we rely on to give us energy and help us learn — and exercising with words has been incredibly transformative.

My curiosity has led me this far — with no expectations and just a desire to keep hitting publish.

I do not write for external approval. I do not write for money or views or fame.

I write for myself.

And to start conversations with people who enjoy talking about similar things.

It is an exercise and an art — one that I work on every day.

Thank you to everyone who reads this. Thanks to my first readers and my most recent ones.
