Today is Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, and a really important day to me. It is the day of atonement, a day where we stop with everything else going on in the world, and internalize our year.

We hit the pause button, self reflect, and take a moment to say I am sorry.

I am sorry to anyone I hurt over the past year. I am sorry to anyone I wronged.

I am sorry to anyone I made fun of or made feel bad.

I am sorry to anyone who I let down.

I am sorry to those who I judged and misunderstood.

I am sorry to those who I gave up on.

I am sorry for my mistakes.

But please, give me another chance.

This year — I will make things right. Both to myself, and to those around me — things will change.
