Regrets are the absolute worst.
I think back on my life…Far more often do I regret not doing something rather than just doing it.
Rarely, if ever, do I regret taking action.
17) If you think you’re going to regret not doing something, you should probably do it. Regret is the worst, and most people regret far more things they didn’t do than things they did do. – Sam Altman
There are many times where I end up overanalyzing situations, trying to find the optimal decision.
While “optimizing” to make the best move can be good, there is also a lot of merit to simply doing. Instead of spending all this time trying to find the perfect choice, I think I should start acting more often.
That way, I’ll minimize the number of regrets I’ll have in life. I do not want to look back and say: I wish I had done that when I was younger. I am younger now, it is my “prime time” to do as much as I can and make the most out of life.
What am I waiting for?
