This is just a first take after a few days of using the IphoneX. For context, I was previously using the Iphone 6 and it was really slowing down. The screen was slightly cracked and apps froze and crashed all of the time. It was slow.
The first thing I want to remember is that, at the end of the day, this is just a phone. I am not the type to think that this phone is making or breaking my life. My life goes on with or without it.
But i will say that it feels great to find little pieces of technology or pieces of your day-to-day life that can improve things. Little things.
And I will say that Apple and the IPhoneX is one of the best companies at building magical experiences that continue to surprise and delight. Specifically, I have enjoyed using 3 things on this phone:
1. The camera.
The camera, I have to say, is unbelievable. As an amateur photographer (at best), I am continually blown away by the quality of these photos. We are now not only carrying super-computers in our pockets, but also some of the best cameras in the world.
2. Speed
It is lightyears faster than my previous phone. Makes life easier.
3. Battery
My phone lasts the whole day!
Of course, a year from now I will be complaining about these three “bugs” but for now, I am enjoying this phone greatly. It is, of course, just a phone!
