Facebook is an absolutely incredible company. At just 11 years old, it must be one of, if not the, most important companies in the world.
Lately, there has been a lot of hate flung towards Facebook for their handling of the newsfeed during the election. Yes this is an important discussion to be had and yes there is a tremendous amount of responsiblity on Facebook and players like it to uphold dignity and morality throughout the product. BUT. Let’s take a step back and appreciate Facebook for what it’s worth.

Facebook is not going to win because of their current product. It will be outdated in 5-10 years.
They are going to win because they learn faster, and grow quicker than any other company. Pair that with their fortress of barriers to entry – you’ve got a winner – long term.
