I think often times people sacrifice one of these attributes for the other. I know I do it all the time. I produce things either in complete quality or go for quantity.
To be the best at what you do, you must be able to produce with both at the highest level.
Of course it is really hard.
But putting out a bunch of garbage in huge quantities is just as worthless as one piece of garbage. In fact it is probably more detrimental to somebody; it’s a waste of your and everyone else’s time.
And putting out one golden gem does not really accomplish much either. Most likely no one will ever see it.
I think the lesson I want to learn here is that you must always be improving otherwise you are dying. Growth is critical.
For these blogs, I am growing a tremendous amount. My metric, perhaps unconventionally is not views or revenue, it’s the amount I learn about myself by writing.
I don’t write these blog posts to make money or attract an audience; I write them to learn about myself and my unique experiences.
Anyways, as always, thank you for reading !
